D&D Notable Location - Mountain

A location that is known locally or further afield, as a landmark, place of history, magical danger or otherwise noteworthy.
Mountains encounters bring visions of snow-topped crags, mighty waterfalls, verdant valleys and cloud castles. They are the home of proud highland tribes, avian predators and mighty giants.

A sheltered campsite sits by a small pond. Folded wolfskin blankets lie under a large rock. A marker identifies a trail to a mountain pass.

Sandmeadow Orchard is a circle of standing stones. It is at the edge of a lake. It has a portal to the Realm of the Ancient Dead.
A cursed ruins. It is at a crossroads. It has the burial site of the black sage.
An odd palace. is part of an ongoing struggle between powerful monsters.
This wide valley has stone markers with arcane runes. Most surround around a ravine which is sacred to a power of endurance.
