D&D Notable Location - Shadowfell

A location that is known locally or further afield, as a landmark, place of history, magical danger or otherwise noteworthy.
The Shadowfell is a pale reflection of the world, a place of shifting shadows, twisted crystal trees, crumbling ruins and foul rivers. Meet cursed spirits, doomed cultists, hordes of undead and servants of the Raven Queen.

Sunrest Fortress is a planar mine. It is in a meadow. It is touched by dark magic.
Bodies and spirits are bound to trees in a gloomy grove. Tablets describe betrayals and crimes. Creatures of earth guard the area.
An enchanted farm. It is at the top of a hill. It was the site of a great tragedy. It is disguised by a hallucinatory terrain.
A floating tavern. It is at a crossroads. It is associated with a mysterious scarecrow. is the birthplace of a trustworthy wizard.
Beside a tree of moving metal blades is a concealed tunnel entrance. the surrounding sand dunes cover old stone structures.
The Hill of Emerald Iron is a sunken Caverns. It is in a field. has been moved from another realm.
Ruins of Gunvale is a ruins. It is visited ghosts and spirits. It is cursed ground.
A shining meeting of two rivers.
A stream of sludge falls onto a slowly turning wheel. It is linked to a series of groaning pipes and mechanisms set into the cliff.
There are fields of stunted crops and pools of bubbling muck. In the area are scraps of armor, rusted weapons and broken arrows.
